Corona Info

staysafe@SAKS

Dear guests,

We have adapted our hygiene concepts in order to give you a safer feeling while staying at SAKS during the Corona Virus pandemic.
The following descriptions explain what has been implemented:

The staysafe@SAKS Hygiene Concept for our
SAKS Urban Design Hotels in Frankfurt and Kaiserslautern

• Ceck-In@SAKS

From March 04th 2022, the 3G-rule will apply to all hotels and restaurants in Hesse.

That means that only vaccinated and convalescent or negative tested people with appropriate proof are allowed to check in at our hotel.
Proof (vaccination pass / vaccination certificate or letter from the health department about recovery or current negative Antigen- or PCR-test) must be presented at check-in.

• Distance@SAKS

We have implemented signs and markings on the floor to help ensure the recommended mandatory distance of 1.5 m is regulated. We are also trying to limit waiting times and therefore minimize the amount of people waiting in line. We kindly ask you to mind the maximum amount of people using the elevator at a time.

We have installed an acrylic window along our reception to still be able to provide proper service and attention to our guests.

We are keeping our distance from each other and ask you to please do the same.

• Masks@SAKS

Our staff is wearing a mouth and nose mask to protect you and themselves. Upon request, we will gladly provide disposable masks and gloves for you during your stay with us at no extra cost.

• Desinfection@SAKS

You can find hand sanitizers at our hygiene stations set up in common areas and at the entrances / exits of the hotel.

• Community@SAKS

Several times a day we are disinfecting all of the door handles and surfaces in all public areas.

Our tables and seating areas in our breakfast room and Henry’s Bar area have been rearranged to meet the hygiene and necessary distancing regulations.

• Pay@SAKS

As usual, you can gladly pay contactless in all areas of our hotel. We accept all common bank cards and credit cards.
Room reservations made on our hotel website can be paid online directly during the booking process.

• Breakfast@SAKS

We offer you a small breakfast consisting of croissaints, pretzels, jam and honey, as well as coffee specialties at a reduced price of 5 €.

• Henry’s Bar@SAKS

Our Henry’s Bar is open daily for you. We will gladly serve you at the tables. As of now, it is not permitted to sit directly at the bar.

• Roomservice@SAKS

We will continue to serve you food and drinks from the room service menu. It will be delivered to your room without contact, as usual.

• Spa@SAKS

Our rooftop patio in the spa area is open for our hotel guests to enjoy, daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. whilst minding the hygiene regulations (only for SAKS Kaiserslautern).

• Shuttle@SAKS

Our free shuttle service is still available, with extra hygiene regulations enforced.

• Housekeeping@SAKS

We will take extra precautions to clean and disinfect your room to make sure you feel comfortable and safe in your “temporary home”. You can decide for yourself if you wish to have your room cleaned by our housekeeping team during your stay.

staysafe@SAKS What it means precisely:

Already in the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, SAKS management took it upon themselves to prioritize the well-being of its guests and employees and avert any possible damage. For this reason, a task force was created, of which Hans Sachs (MBA) and his wife Dr. Ute Sachs-Baqué belong to, amongst others.

Based on various expert literature and rules and regulations enforced by the German government, as well as recommendations from BGN and DEHOGA which all in its own have high hygiene standards, this SAKS task force implemented an extended hygiene concept for its hotels.
The result is the so-called “SAKS Corona Exit Strategy”.
The Corona Virus has lead to an even higher demand of hygiene standards. This is why at SAKS we disinfect all door handles, furniture and surfaces throughout all public areas several times a day and also file a log sheet for your protection.
Along with the intensive cleaning of the hotel rooms, all surfaces in the rooms are also disinfected. Our housekeeping team not only wears SAKS masks, but also puts on a new set of disposable gloves in each room and when cleaning the common areas. On top of that, our management team carefully inspects each room after the cleaning before it is made available for the next guest.

We have installed signs and floor markings to enforce and regulate the recommended mandatory distance of 1.5 m. At the entrances / exits of the hotel, you will also find hygiene stations with disinfectant and rules of conduct in order to ensure the necessary safety and protection.

Through seminars, trainings and instructions, we can ensure you that the entire SAKS team is carrying out this hygiene concept.
We greatly appreciate your support in conducting our Corona Exit Strategy and we look forward to greeting you as our guest at SAKS.
